In England, state schools are inspected by Ofsted and most independent school inspection sits with the Independent Schools Inspectorate, with Estyn in Wales and Education Scotland in Scotland. Pupils sit GCSEs and then A Levels or vocational qualifications at sixth form or further education college, while Scotland runs National Qualifications, Highers and Advanced Highers. Some independent schools offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma. India is five and a half hours ahead of UK time in winter and four and a half in summer, so a UK morning is a comfortable Indian afternoon. That overlap is workable for calls.
